So through the winter have been adding a couple of things to the bike, getting it ready for the 2012 season in the MRA.

Just got it back from being painted, went by TFOG and of course just as usual, Jim helped me out with a couple of things.... Much appreciated Jim. Got to see and chat with a few CSC members while at tfog also, was good seeing everyone again.

So here she is, just need to get my sponsor decals on, charge the battery, and a couple small things like getting my seat foam from FasterMotorsports, flush out the coolant from the winter.... And get my new cheap slip on put on haha.

Green rim stripe will come off when I am not feeling so lazy. My other set of bodywork will be identical but with a custom mounted fog light and brake light/plate to be streetable.

Like it. But I'd but some black on the front fairing on either side of the air intake.

Just my 2c.

Thanks everyone, I kept changing the paint scheme every couple of days, then said screw it and came up with a final one.

Theres a couple of things I would change if I were to start it over, but I think I would always change a couple things no matter what.

Thank you Andrew and Yusuke.....

So I made an attempt at removing the rim stripe, without any results. It's the type of decal where your fingernail has to chip off a tiny piece at a time. Like trying to peel off the DMV registration date decals, they don't come off in one piece.

Anyone else have ideas?

Yep. Just don't use a razor blade like my friend did or you can mar the wheel.

An old trick of mine is to use charcoal lighter to soften the adhesive. The active ingredient is naptha, and it loosens most sticker adhesives like nobody's business, but it's really selective so it won't harm anything but the adhesive. Just squirt some on, leave it for a few minutes to let it penetrate, and slowly start peeling from an edge. Add a bit as necessary to keep the edge you're pulling "wet". It also works well for cleaning the adhesive residue off the surface when you're done with the sticker.

I was actually going to say leave the green rim tape. I think it makes the bike pop.

+1

Then get some 1/2" white walls on that f*cker! Would look killer!

Unfortunately I am usually against rim stripes haha. I was actually thinking of leaving them (due to laziness) and maybe making some green sponsor stickers to kind of blend it in and stand out.

Otherwise I will try a couple of different suggestions from here and go from there. Thanks for all the advice, I tried a heat gun but probably wasn't patient enough.
