We couldn't ask for better weather today. Just a heads up; although we did a number of large events at the same location (Bostons) a few years ago, this will be the first time at the newly opened The Rock. The management and staff there do not know what to expect. We may not have the amount of cordoned off parking or reserved tables that we would like. If you can get there early, please do. Take up as many parking spots as possible for those who come later.

Fay Myers is owned by Schomp (cubic dollars) and they make a ton of money on all the bikes they sell at little to no discount, and from the very high dealer fees they add to each bike. They can afford to give away some decent stuff to make us all feel good about the dealership. Just my opinion.

I'll still go because it's 2 miles from my house and I like hanging with my friends and meeting new CSCers but I wouldn't go out of my way if there were no giveaways or even some good food deals.

Not looking for any responses on this, just giving Jim a data point to use in his analysis of what makes a successful bike night. Proximity to my home makes it a winner, otherwise there's nothing special about the Fay's bike night. Grand Prix definitely wins my business for their support of our bike nights and for providing a great atmosphere. That last bike night at Lil Riccis was a blast. Even the people at the restaurant showed interest in our business and in what we thought would make it better. It seems like Fay's just thinks they can provide a poster and we'll all show up.

Maybe they're right and they don't have to put any work or thought into it.

I'm sorry these events have been a disappointment to you. I made the decision with Fay's not to give away helmets after I gave away 12 last year amid complaints that we were only doing it to keep people in there late to spend more money, that it was rigged and the same people kept winning, that it was bringing out a bad element to the events,etc. My hope was that all of you would come just to hang out with each other at a cool place with a great atmosphere. If The Rock does not fit this, then I made a bad decision. 2 weeks ago we did a bike night at The Walnut Room with no sponsors, no helmets, no door prizes, and the feedback I received was that everyone had a great time.

Chris Stinson and I started the bike nights at Boston's in 2008 with Grand Prix and continued running them through 2010 when we moved them to Hooters. I'm glad to see their events have continued to be successful without the two of us involved, and I have provided my support whenever possible.

As far as the poster; it was my creation (including the photos), design and distribution. So it would be unfair to say that Fay's just thinks they can provide a poster and we'll all show up. You can blame me instead.

I've seen bikes have serious electrical problems due to too much juice. Not sure the exact cause as they're both 12 volt batteries so you'd think it's safe. Not saying it may happen to you but just be careful

Already dreading that bs, but yea obviously car batteries have way more CCA than motorcycle batteries. Most motorcycle batteries rate at what like 250 CCA? Car batteries are anywhere from 450 CCA and I've seen up to 1300 lol

Gabbin, shooting the shit, flappin...etc....it was minimal when i rode up. so a cpl of dudes i met at lil riccis last week . talk with them..then ran into JasonOn, WillBill, and Dan...watch a guy roll up his race bike onto back of his trk.. finish my bottled water and rip it home....

It was MTLHD's helmet... the guy was arrested, bike impounded. Not sure of the punishment but he was offered a plea bargin.
