Quick question.

http://www.highplainsraceway.com/pdf/HPR-Lapping-Day-Policies.pdf

"Information Meeting will be held at 12:40 for the afternoon session."

When does everyone show up for the PM session? Can we enter the HPR grounds around 11:30 AM if we are signed up for the afternoon? It's my first time so might need extra time to get ready.

Thanks!

You can enter anytime after 0700 when the gates open, I try to be there ~ 1145-1200 for afternoon.

Paying day of will cost more than pre-registering. Riders meeting is at 7:40am.

I'd love to go out and get lapped by you, just have to see about cash, transport, and if I have time to prep the bike this weekend or not--and all of those combined are making it an iffy proposition.

I need a race bike...and trailer...and truck... :p

Me too man, I'd kill to do track days so I can improve my skills and have fun while not having to worry about LEOs lol.

Concentrate on the cash, bring your bike to my place this weekend and we can both work on it. I asked one of my buddies if he goes...if he can bring you along.

Will be much easier for him to pick you up from my place since it's on the way.

Just let me know if it seems doable and we will get the resources to make it happen.

What a great day! Warm pavement, no wind and 1.2 seconds dropped from last time. Only bad for me was forgetting to charge gopro. I got all of 11 seconds of video from that first wild afternoon session. I was really hoping to catch that, it was crazy fun traffic
great to see everyone that made it out today!

It was good to get out there again! I saw a couple of guys go down but no one seemed to be too banged up.

There was a guy whose license plate was falling off in the afternoon- I tried to let him know about it going through turns 2 and 3, I hope I didn't freak him out. If you're on here Mr. Hanging Plate, I was just trying to help and hopefully didn't spook you. It's hard to communicate that sort of thing through hand signals.

Cheers,
Jamie

What about your video from that new Contour on your head?

Slo

Had it on for a short session, it's actually kind of boring haha.

Followed ghostrider around for a lap and then did my own thing, I don't like the camera on the helmet, will be transferring it to the bike:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N37-OH3_zcw&list=PL01C4291642D916EB&index=1&feature=plpp_video

Looks like after the first lap 2m 5-6s or so and then a 2m 3-4s or so

I can see where mounting it on the bike is smoother, but that's still cool you got something up.

That was Randy Throckmorton. He'll be out there most MRA race weekends and any track days I run.

You can contact me or him at w.o.throttle@gmail.com

Supply your # on the bike, if you have one, and some distinguishing marks so he can pull pics of you. He may only charge you for the mailing of a disc
