while eating a "double bypass burger," drinking a margarita and smoking a cigarette.
Hey hey heyyyy, I thought consuming three bad things at once all cancel each other out?! Damn that burger looks so effing tasty, and greasy, the best kind, heheh.

Didn't a guy have a heartattack at that place just a few months ago? That's two for their record books now, lol!

If you're going to be a snob then you ought to point out that it's spelled "restaurant" not "rester-aunt".

Yeah, I just glazed over that. And actually it's less about snobbery than it is about threads with giant multiple pics are hard to navigate on your smartphone, heh.

Yeah those fries look dry and lame. I still prefer McD's fries, time-tested, greasy, and almost always good, as long as they aren't sitting around old. Hard to beat, except seasoned curly fries rule too.

The Heart Attack Grill offers free meals to any customer who weighs over 350 pounds and features a butterfat milkshake, nonfiltered cigarettes, "flatliner" fries and four burgers, each rated on an ascending scale of "a single bypass" to the "quadruple bypass."

Only if you like greasy, redmeat, fried, etc. types of food, then yes it looks appetizing. Unfortunately I could only tackle about a 1/4 of that giant one up top. Half a Ted's Kitchen Sink fills me up nicely, with the other half a great lunch at work the next day.

That pastrami sandy looks awesome.

I used to go to the heart attack grill at least once a month in college down in Phoenix where it started. The burgers are amazing and the girls in nurses outfits are awesome. The most I did was a triple bypass. Got wheeled to my car in their wheelchair! Lol

These people croaking were going to croak either way. But yes everything is bad for you. Hence the reason why I went there.

Of course if you're going to eat at Ted's in the first place, you're hopefully ordering Bison, not beef. It offers guilt-free allowances to do things like "TKS".

Their fries aren't awarding winning, but I think they're good. Having fresh potato french fries is different now and then, but yeah... definitely more soft than crunchy. That said, I'll take them any day of the potato wedges they serve at Red Robin. Yeah, I understand their "steak" fries, but they're as reason you can have as many as you want!

Oh yeah... Ted's lemonade is filthy good. Damn, I'm making myself hungry typing this.

Anyone know that to burn the calories of ONE M&M takes you running 100 yards! Just one!!!!! Compare this to what is served at restaurants and you would be amazed how much a giant hamburger would take to burn off. Then we all wonder why obesity is becoming the #1 killer in America.

Hear Attack grill serves a burger called the Quadruple bypass burger and guess how many calories it is.........8000! Anyone have any idea how long that would take to burn off before it turns to fat!

I would hope EVERYONE on this site is smart enough to realize that this food is NOT HEALTHY. :D And this thread is all about greasy tasty food that is BAD for you, especially in excess.

EVERYTHING IN MODERATION: red meat, fried food, carbs, fats, dairy/grease/oils, dessert/candy/icecream, sugars, fastfood, alcohol, caffeine, etc. Temper those things with a majority-healthy diet and at least light/moderate regular excercise, and you should be fine. If you're doing all this and still going downhill, you've got other more serious genetic or health issues that are better addressed by a doctor or nutritionist.

(sorry if that sounded patronizing, but since Bulldog & others have brought it up) ;)

The Flaming Tiki's a good one. My favorite is their Campfire (buffalo patty with raspberry BBQ, crispy poblano rings, pepper Jack, coffee-dusted onion strings).

I appreciate the concern, but I go to the Doctor for check-ups like it's my job; 9 Health Fairs, Bonfils blood donations, whatever. I have a great resting heart rate, my cholesterol is spec., blood pressure is fantastic. Shit... I don't even have any cavities.

Like Ghosty said... everything in moderation with reasonable activity and balance. Sure... I admit I'll never be in any danger of being "skinny", and probably stand to lose some pounds under ideal circumstances (like my whole life has been). But I've also been active my whole life, not sedentary. I'm hardly unhealthy.

Edit: And just for the record... having large muscle mass, minimal body fat, and powerful strength, doesn't necessarily equate to being in good health. There's a large scope of variables to consider.

Sputnik in Denver on Broadway & 7th use to have a breakfast sandwich or burger that was smashed between two glazed donuts and panfried, pretty good actually. Even though it sounds weird. They have a good "Weekend Hangover Brunch" menu too:

Even if you are ok from a check up view now it will affect you in the long run and I highly doubt any doctor would not suggest for a person to stay within the researched healthy body fat/weight for their height. Hey, your decision though, but I suggest you research the harm on extra body weight if you don't beleive me. I don't understand... How am I fooling myself?

Are you saying that an active lifestyle combined with moderation of unhealthy food (and other vices) is not a good platform to live by?

Is BMI the be-all and end-all in baseline health? :dunno:

Are you saying that an active lifestyle combined with moderation of unhealthy food (and other vices) is not a good platform to live by?

Is BMI the be-all and end-all in baseline health? :dunno: Fooling yourself that being overweight doesn't/won't make you unhealthy or cause problems. Like I said it has been proven so this is not just my opinion.

Did your doctor really not suggest to lose weight or eat healthier and workout more? If not, you should change doctors or at least geta second opinion. You of everyone knows I live with a nurse who treats weight related problems all the time.

Active lifestyle does not make up for exercise and a proper diet!

Anyways man, not going to push you on this. You are one of my best buds so not dissing you (Love you man; no homo!), just trying to share the knowledge of what I have learned. You know I am obsessed with fitness and my entire life revolves around it. Not saying anyone needs to be obesessed like me, but a few healthy choices and changes never hurts
