Another good call.

I hope Rossi goes to Ferrari after winning MotoGP on a Duc, and wins an F1 title!

Oh yeah, I respect the old school. Agostini, most decorated GP racer of all time, killed it with MV. Hailwood...Mike the bike, I love the Ducati Replica commemorating him, and his helmet color scheme, King Kenny...and his mechanic Kel carruthers taking the GP by storm back in the day. There are simply so many riders that are great out there. I just simply never grew up with them. Kenny's sons Kurtis and KR junior are not to bad either (to say the least). Lawson is pretty cool, watching him and Rainey battle it out in their carts in FASTER. And the ZRX1200 that people say he inspired or kawi replicated after him. The race my dad played for me over and over was a 4 way battle between Doohan, Gardner, Rainey and Schwantz at Phillip Island sometime in the 90's. I think Lawson was in that race as well. There are simply so many great racers out there. Hayden and Edwards moving up through WSBK and racing my favorite bike (RC51) to world championships. Yvon I met with the pops at Laguna sometime in the early 90's when we visited Miguel's tent. I had no idea who he was, but he talked to us for a bit and seemed like a pretty cool guy. Thats when Gobert was Racing for Kawasaki and had green hair. Edwards is sweet, pretty funny guy and I love the interviews he gives, pretty straight shooter.

Hey dirk who is Jimmy Adamo?

Ha, I remember walking through the pits during that time and going to the Fast by Ferracci tent. While everyone else had blockades to keep the fans from getting anywhere near the bikes, The Ferracci guys pulled there blockades down and rolled their bikes out INTO the crowd to start them up. A mechanic told me to stand behind one of the bikes they were firing up. Needless to say, that was awesome having my hair shoot back and hearing that bike roar to life. Of course I pee'd my pants a little from the sheer sound and bark of that thing but dang, what a good time. Memory for life

Polen signed my AMA ticket from Laguna one year. I think it might be the year I had ticket 000001, and my buddies had 2 and 3 because I bought them very early.

And Schwantz, he was always my fave. I saw his first AMA pro race at Willow Springs back in the early '80's

Hey dirk who is Jimmy Adamo?

He was a privateer that raced Ducatis in the 80's and early 90's. I met him a couple of times and he was a great guy. He probably could have gotten factory rides if he'd given up on riding Ducs, but he was a Ducati guy through and through. He died in a crash at Daytona back in 1993 when his brakes failed and he plowed into a tire wall. I put him on my list to represent privateers because he was the epitome of that group.

He was in my list. The years when he and Schwantz were going at it provided some of the best racing ever seen. The pass that Schwantz pulled off on Rainey in the final lap to win the 1991 German GP is one I'll never forget:

Well, I'm sure he enjoy"s the shout out from where he is now...if you believe in that sort of thing. Good Point, +10 for the privateers

Yeah, always like the Boz bros, and Hayden bros, and Josh Hayes. On the dirty side, Hannah, Lackey, Glover, DeCoster, McGrath, RC.
