A guy in Vancouver was beachcombing, and stumbled across the remnants of a moving truck washed out to sea by the Japanese Tsunami. Among the contents? A rusty HD.

damn, I would've thought it would be in the ocean floor, not floating around like drift wood. Didnt think the tires were that buoyant.

It was in a sealed shipping crate with other shit, not floating on its own.

Follow up: Harley Davidson to restore and return motorcycle to owner.

Imagine losing everything and getting your bike back.

Likely cheaper for them to park it in the museum and hand him a new one.

The thing looked rougher than a night in jail and Chinese 'rithmatic combined.

Restoration even I wouldn't take on.

Can't imagine what the salt water has done rusting things together. OTOH it'll probably drop less bolts than a new HD.
