my gut says it's not true. If it isn't true, what a sad deal because that man has really been through a lot.

Wtf, chocolate cake wrappers? Well, as much as I love many of his movies, everyone already knows Travolta is kind of a weirdo fruitcake. Just watch his brilliant project, Battlefield Earth, LOL. Wonder if he can prove he was out of town. But that guy seems to be claiming things in ugly vivid detail.

(haven't kept up on his personal issues though, who knows...)

Meh, I don't see why we're jumping to defend him.

Either he did it or he didn't, and the courts will figure it out.

Most celebrities are fucked up, he wanted a little rub-and-tug, think that's impossible?

He had a special needs child who died young. Seems to me he's taken on and won slanderous lawsuits in the past.

Oh sad, didn't know that.

John Doe No. 2 filed a $2 million sex assault suit Tuesday morning in a Los Angeles court claiming "substantial documentation and numerous witnesses regarding the substance of Travolta's actions"...
Yikes!

"Travolta removed the entire sheet from his body, and he claimed the sheets were sticky and could not tolerate the heat...Travolta further indicated that he likes a lot of 'Glutes' work meaning a massage on his buttocks...While he was massaging near Travolta's buttocks area, Travolta would open his legs and spread his butt cheeks open and had a full erection and would maneuver in a way to try to force Doe Plaintiff No. 2 to touch his anus and around his anus."

The only issue is that Guy #2 made complaints immediately after the incident to his bosses at that resort spa. Why bring in witnesses and reference co-workers that can counter claims if its all a lie?

If those witnesses are legit and verifiable... JT is in some deep troubs.

Travolta's been accused of being gay or at least bi for years now... I want to say the first time I ever saw reports of it was shortly after his "revival" attempt with those hideous "Look Who's Talking" movies.

Point in fact it was about a year ago this was starting to get traction - right after his wife had their new baby there were reports he was out on a bender with an escort - but then the story disappeared, quashed, and the insider reports were he / the Scientologists paid the person A LOT of money to shut up and disappear.

If the suit goes down the path of a hearing on the matter - something tells me the Scientologists will do everything they can to make sure he doesn't, or those involved in the suit, don't testify. If Travolta gets exposed, dug into, etc by the plethora of private investigators (ethical or otherwise) that I'm sure any logical money-grubbing lawyer would use - it could easily bring up a lot of dirt on the whole organization I'm sure, not just Travolta.

Essentially, yes. I read a book about them and what Scientology strikes me as is a pyramid scheme that preys on those with low-self esteem.

People who buy into it and fall out of favor with the powers that be actually allow themselves to be imprisoned, whether it be on some compound or on that ship: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/cruise-from-hell-i-was-trapped-on-scientology-ship-while-tom-partied-6271542.html

Don't get me started about the Scientologists. My mom got into it a little when I was a kid. That was before she married the Mormon. Don't get me started about the Mormons. (but at least their book is open--I'll give 'em that)

Yeah but like all religions - they re-wrote theirs to fit their agenda-of-the-moment. Difference is - they re-wrote it in a modern enough time people are still alive / the history of the original version is still passed down.

You're right, however, anyone can go pick up a book of Mormon and read it and judge its validity as they see fit. You are allowed access to the Scientology doctrine incrementally--only after a certain level is achieved (and a dollar amount forked over). That would be like being given the Bible one gospel at a time, and only as you demonstrate that you can swallow it whole.

I agree 100% with what you're saying--the prime example being that Joseph Smith decided to "reveal" that polygamy was required in order to achieve an exalted state only after being caught philandering by his wife--like a decade after supposedly being given the Book of Mormon.

Nice, good for Travolta. Another douchebag looking for a free payoff with lies. Now hopefully he has an alibi for the second weirdo.
