I have shelter for my house/cars/etc. They unfortunately will not fully insure motorcycles (only collision). I'm looking at buying a 06 vfr, i have zero accidents, motorcycle endorsment, only 1 ticket in my car in the last 3 yrs, etc. I know someone on here works in the industry but I can't for the life of me find the thread or his info. At any rate I need to get a quote. All help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Kevin. :)

Should be dirt cheap. My insurance agent shit when I switched the Duc to the VFR. Went from about $50 a month to $10 a month for full coverage.

State Farm goes by size and year, doesn't discriminate against Sportbikes vs. Cruisers, etc. Totally clean record (3+ years) and no accidents for me. '05 R6 costed me about $20/mo. for full coverage including comprehensive/theft.

Liter sportbikes would cost me from $22 - $26 / mo. (R1, Gix1k, ZX10r, CBR1k) But keep in mind I have everything (auto/home/bike) all with StateFarm so I get some discount, plus been with the same agent for almost 10 years.

My agent is Mark Sammon @ 303-980-1818. Highly recommended. Tell them Praveen S. referred you. My truck and car have windshield insurance (one free replacement a year each), and one or two free tows/roadside svc. a year, both are cheap additions. In total I think I pay around $175/mo. for FULL coverage/coll/comp and $250 deduct. on all three vehicles. Pretty sweet, considering one is the Supra, which costs along the lines of a Vette to insure.

+1 on State Farm not caring about style. I went from an SV650 "sport bike" to a V Star 1100 "cruiser" and mine went up a touch, from $16/month to $19/month.

Progressive for me is $98 per year. Full coverage.
$98 per bike, I have 2. A 2000 ZRX and a 2009 Husky SM510. Weird that there was no price difference considering the differance in engine size and type of motorcycle.

Anybody but American Family. We had them for over 10yrs with no claims and when we had 1 claim within that time frame it took them 6 months to pay up and after we had to pay for repair our selfs up front. They will treat you like gold as long as you pay them $ but as soon as you need them to help you, they will screw you!!

Kevin, I just insured my '08 R1. $32/mo. for full coverage, $250/deduct. A little more expensive than the '05 quotes I posted in my own insurance thread, because it's newer obviously.
