Thu May 10th, 2012, 05:56 PM
I jacked this information from the Racing section of the forum (expect anything less from the Dirty South?). There are many racers from the Springs, Pueblo and beyond in the MRA. Come out and support the MRA and it's racers. Heck, get out and participate in the Super Street class. Two for one tickets are available at the shops in town to make the bargain spectator fee of $10 twice as sweet. Military ID, even better, get in FREE! Hope to see some of you there on Saturday.

PPIR will once again have the Beer Garden open for spectators that would like to enjoy a frosty beverage while watching their favorite racers!

I'll be spectating this one! Love the atmosphere.

(but I'll bring earplugs since the sound at PPIR is much more intense than at HPR).

If you are riding superstreet and have a fire extinguisher, bring it to keep in your pit area.

For anyone that may need tools, drinks and such, come and see the SLO guy in garage #11. MRA #510

Do the next SS day at HPR, whenever that is, when I do it :doublefinger:

(Someone said the next round at HPR in june isn't doing SS because of the endurance race :(. So I might do the one after that)

Yeah, the 4-hour endurance race takes the place of the Superstreet race.

Seems like July 28th is the next one at HPR so that means you'd be doing the one in August? I have to do my chain and sprockets and possibly a clutch before I can do any track days so given I don't make much $$$ that's why I have to stretch it out as much as possible so I can save up as much as I can to be able to attend.

tecknojoe
Sat May 12th, 2012, 08:38 AM
Yea I'll probly do the one in august. I just don't like how unsafe PPIR and Pueblo are.

Side track - When pueblo did work over the winter, did they move the wall in turn 10? I know there was talk about it, and I won't run there unless they do

Bueller
Sat May 12th, 2012, 08:52 AM
They will never move that wall. There has been talk about how to do something different with that turn for a long time, looks like they reconfigured it a bit and slowed it down.

Yeah I know that is pushing it a bit. If I hadn't of sold my other transponder you could have used it. You can pick a # on the license packet and There are a few that have fashioned #'s out of electrical tape
