Knocking out the wall that separates our kitchen from the front room, Alan has already taken it upon himself to start the demo process, removing all the drywall from the wall and kitchen ceiling. We need bids on someone to complete the following:

1) Remove the wall structure. From what we were originally told, this is NOT a load bearing wall. It does however provide support for the kitchen ceiling, but if that was vaulted to match the front room, then we can remove the wall entirely and not leave a beam and pole.

2) Remove the kitchen ceiling structure/ beams

3) Drywall the new ceiling and remove the popcorn off of the front room ceiling. Drywall will also need to be done above the cabinets to fill in or cover the gap from the top of the cabinets to the new vaulted ceiling. Get it ready for paint.

Last two Alan said he can do however I still would like a separate bid for them just in case.

4) Run and install recessed lighting in both rooms

5) Install/match the existing swiftlock flooring with new to cover up where the wall and island used to be

And this one if you can do it. I have a corner lazy susan with the door attached so that when you spin it open the door opens with it. I would rather have shelves in there and the door separate.
