Cornfed, Jkol, Imortal and myself went to trail ridge yesterday, had a great time and got some awesome footage.

This video was primarily made because it was brought to my attention that the color was lacking in my videos because the GoPro does not record the color as well.

I went in and did some adjusting to the picture and i was able to see a huge difference, let me know what you guys think.

Beautiful scenery! We were gonna head North up there too, but started getting flurries in WinterPark. So got lunch and decided it best to play it safe and head back to Denver. I was bummed!

How were the temps up at that altitude? What time of day?

It was freezing and the wind was insane we were the only ones standing outside and we had to keep our visors down because of the wind. I have footage of the wind I'm going to use in a different video.

The temps were pretty low, but the wind was flat out insane. We rode through flurries twice, once on trailridge and then again heading over the pass going north on 125 into Rand. I am glad we kept going though, at the time I wasn't, but we discovered that 14 between Walden and Fort Collins is 100 miles of awesome road. Some of it was tight and twisty, while other sections were very high speed sweepers. Lots of fun and good road quality most of the time.

Color looked good. Great ride. Decent weather, some flurries. DRZ ran great for its first trip to the Mountain!

I got them from let it ride for about $40 it's the heating element and the wiring. Installation was pretty easy, I used the hairspray method that was suggested by a lot of people on the forum.

Thanks I appreciate that, you're the one who inspired me to fix the color.

To get to trail ridge you take highway 34 out of either granby or Estes park, it costs $10 to get in and the pass is good for a week.

Yeah I don't like how the GoPro desaturates all the colors. In your vid the yellow line on the road pops and looks vibrant in contrast to the snow and brown terrain. Look forward to the next vid.

Haha, I couldn't help but give you shit for that. I liked the video and soundtrack, makes me wish I wasn't in France right now, and I'm glad to see Trail Ridge is open for two wheels.
