I didn't know where else to throw this, so it's going here.

This is really cool. A man get's stranded in the desert and builds a motorcycle out of his defunct car. (http://www.autoblog.com/2012/05/23/man-stranded-in-desert-builds-motorcycle-out-of-his-broken-car/)

Would have taken some serious know how and some serious tools. Not sure how he could have made it with no welder and no drill.

Agreed, call total bullshit until I see a picture of the site, car, and all tools used that he happened to be carrying with him.

I say, yall are underestimating the the creative power of the human mind. He might very well have made it without a single new weld or much cutting/drilling. Depending on what was available and how much was there, im sure a capable person could come up with something that worked.

Yep sure, if Tony Stark could do all he did in a cave, then I'm sure this story is possibly true... :D

I believe he built it, I just doubt the back story.

Would have taken some serious know how and some serious tools. Not sure how he could have made it with no welder and no drill. From the article:

It seems unthinkable to assemble this machine in the desert without using drill and welding equipment. All parts will be assembled by screwing. When drilling, it will be in Africa: the piece of metal is bent 90 ° to form an edge. a certain point, this edge is weakened to the hacksaw or round file. At the edge of drilling, must be returned to the flat part and filed to puncture point by means of a hammer and a punch. The assemblies were made as much as possible according to the original holes of the chassis or engine block-box.
