I've not been to on of these here yet. Bunch of times in AZ !!!
Usually in the desert. Cops would find us 1 out 3 times. And it was not as big as this. Up to 2000 people max.

I've seen a lot of people think they can just come in and throw a super massive party. Almost never works. Colorado's edm scene just doesn't work like that. The most recent attempt was Pulse Music Festival.

well that would suck. Dude in Phx 2 years ago we had Earth Day party right next to Maricopa County Sheriffs building. 5 stages, few thousand fucked up people, cops never disturbed us.

It's not really a cop thing, though that does play a role. There's lots of politics involved. People think they can just come out of nowhere and throw a party. It doesn't work like that and usually they end up shitting on a lot of progress that many people worked hard to obtain.

I thought they did that Apogaea thing at Lake George already? How did that go?

Apogaea happened back at the begining of June. As far as I know it went off without a hitch. It's a regular event so I wouldn't expect any issues. I'm not really into the burning man thing but I have friends that are.
