Glad someone posted it, otherwise I was going to. I will be heading down to this, my wife works Tuesday night so I will have the night free to ride. I have never been here to this place before but hopefully it will be welcoming and that other sportbike riders are there as well

Fun! I should enter one of those. I'm pretty decent at the crawl/balance at stoplights, hahaa.

Hey! I can count! Seriously though, you guys were doing awesome. Riding like that is definitely an acquired skill. You have to do a lot of things at the same time. Managing the throttle, brake and steering, all while moving at less than a crawl on super rounded tires is nothing to snicker at. It says a lot about the amount of control a person has over the machine they are riding.

On a different note, I also found it interesting that the best two times in the slow race were done on big bikes - an 1199 and a GSXR 1k.

Brad, I know you were right there with us on the times. You are definitely rocking the R6! I guess that just goes to show that spending time on the bike (and on the track) pays off in the skills department!

Maybe it's the 5 or so mandatory MSF courses I've had to take >.< (they love these as I'm sure you know). Interestingly, they do something similar at the YCRS too. Except, they do a clutch only race, it's pretty fun actually.

I ended up bailing out like 740pm, I didnt know who to try and talk with. Totally cool to know I can just walk around and ask next time tho. I didnt want to be THAT GUY trolling from table to table asking who was with the CSC and jus assume I could park my ass in a chair once i found the group. You guys all seem pretty welcoming, I'll make sure to ask next time. Looks good the whole slow race thing, I shoulda stuck around for that at least!

A good way to meet members when you are new is to walk up to a bike you recognize and sit on it.

sorry this is for another thread but in response to your post, is anyone going on Sunday for spectating? Im doing a fork swap all day Saturday on my SV650 and can't go then but Sunday I'm off all day and wouldn't mind riding in a crew of bikes to get out there.
