Going to the PPIR Super street race in September and need to change coolant for the track.
I have easy access to Deionized water at work.
It's what we use to fill the batteries.
Is this okay to use?
From what i can tell by searching there seems to be no problem.
Is there another additive i should or can use?
Water wetter or any of the like.
Let the debate begin!

DI will work. It's the mineral content that is of concern when using tap water, and DI has none.

Plain water will work, water wetter may keep the temp lower but I have run it both ways and never had an issue.

I can +1 to this, I flushed the white stallion yesterday and put regular water in, getting ready for HPR on Friday and she ran nice and smooth yesterday and today.

I would use water wetter its cheap and it helps lubricate the waterpump seals otherwise just water can cause a leak around the shaft seal over time.
