I am going to be leaving from MoCo at 8 AM to ride to Pike's Peak via Deckers (http://goo.gl/maps/rQcE) if anyone should care to join. I will ride my ride and I expect others to ride theirs. This is not an organized tour or group ride, rather I'm simply stating my intentions. Each individual shall be solely responsible for his/her conduct and safety.

And if someone knows of a place to get a delicious bison burger along the way, that info would be greatly appreciated. :yumyum:

How much is the Pikes Peak Toll? FWIW heard it snowed up there recently

The toll is $15 as far as I know.

According to their website, it's $12 a person. The summit cams show no snow on the ground at all. At 6:00 am, the temp was 39 and the 30 min average wind speed was 51 mph. Today's forecast says 40% chance of thunderstorms, mainly after 1:00 pm, with a high of 52 and winds of 10-15 mph.

Hope you guys had fun! Sorry, again for bailing. But I was able to get 2 new Dunlops mounted. Then I came home and cleaned & lubed the throttle (it was just a couple of rust spots), installed new grips, and cleaned & oiled the air filter. I also backed off the rear about 10 clicks and took one more turn out of the forks. Should be feeling much better now. Thanks again for the tools. I may do a little tire scrub-in ride in the morning.
