CSC Old Meets New Member MASHUP 08/11/12 6PM Arvada

I know, I know, I missed July. This travel back and forth is killing me. Anyway, it is past time for a MASHUP. Come one, come all! We's gettin together, having some food and drinks and talking about the bestest thing in the whole world (well, top 3 anyway) RIDING! Feel free to bring something sweet to share or your favorite 6 pack. I'll prolly be having sammwiches or maybe BBQ, not sure yet but there will be food, pop, cookies, and old and new friends.

Please note: We will have a jar out to collect funds for the ABATE Randy Run Fund which helps out injured motorcyclists.

I'm in for this as well. Any excuse to get out and ride somewhere and meet new people I'm down. Doing a ride that morning up coal creek with another forum member then we will be down at your place for the mashup. Will bring some brew in the tank bag. Damn do they make fridge tank bags to keep beer cold :)

I was tense and scared from my first crash today and have also never driven at night before and had a dark tinted shield not thinking id stay that late. Luckily they had a spare scoprion clear shield I could use.

Yeah Ive got a softball size bruise on my right hip, its pretty sore and hurts a tad to walk. Rash on my right forearm (had my jow rocket leather racing jacket on with elbow pads but it rode up and rashed my forearm) and got massive headache and left side of my neck is all strained and sore. It could have been worse.

I care more about the bike than myself haha and hope to find the best option for fixing it. If Grim's paint shop is cheap enough I'll have it repainted otherwise a nice custom decal for the side would be fine, sort of like the gray/white R6 decal look which would probably look alright on the side.

People say not to fix it that it'll just happen again but I'd like to hope not!

Go Pro was on the lower fairing on the side that fell and when it hit the ground the gopro popped right off. Just some scratches on the plastic case and the suction mount. Hopefully it all still works and didnt damage the actual unit.

naw a crash like this wont even hurt a go pro part of there whole point. and you can buy new case or eye lense

yeah maybe I should decal over some of it and two tone it up! I also need to make it back to Arvada and drop off the Scoprion clear shield I was allowed to borrow for the night ride home. Didnt think I'd have stayed as long as I did and was wearing my dark tinted visor at the time
