Nice! So is FAASST going to start hosting the lapping days on PMPs calendar?

We're trying... Waiting on contract negotiations to get finalized before we make an announcement. The PMP calendar is NOT accurate on most open lapping dates as of now, FYI. The only for sure dates are Aug 31st and Sep 8th.

So yes, that event is still a go, we usually have a lower turnout of bikes on the 8th, so help us spread the word!

It's a for sure date. This is the first 'shared' PMP day with the city, so we expect a lot of payments will be made at the gate (+$10 for registering at the gate). We're inviting the bikes out so you can have more track time, but there will be a number of cars there as well.

**edit**

Judy did put up Aug 31 on the Faasst site for pre-registering lappers...

The 9/8 event is a different page here:

Do car guys need any experience? I have 3 friends that are interested in 9/8, but have never been on a track. CTS, GTO, and Mustang GT.

Not for that day (9/8 ), it's an open invitation to get new drivers to the track since it's all about supporting Fort Carson and not lap times or a race weekend. We'll take all the 'newbies' through a short safety orientation that morning. Just make sure they know how to pass a tech inspection for us and they have a helmet made within the last 5 years.

I just read where it states you have to have prior experience from your club or group to enter the open track day? I dont think I can obtain said documents.. or a license from a santioned racing body.. I have neither but I do have track time under my lid. What do I need to do?

I added another tech link, but it was working for me... it's your basic MRA rules for bikes.

Metalgearmurder- Just make sure you come to the driver/rider meeting at 8AM. We'll make sure you're squared away to ride. An interview will tell us if you are going be a liablity out there ;)
