If you have a motorcycle in the springs, you are pretty much screwed. Can't believe all these thefts.

Looks like the guy had a garage. INSURE YOUR SHIT PEOPLE!Better yet, don't live in C Springs! Too bad it sucks down there, a lot of interesting Colorado history occurred in and around the Springs.

The bike was parked outside a friend's house. If thieves were actually stealing from closed garages, it would be a scary time.

I find it amazing that the cops were able to get a partial reading of the license plate, yet the perp was able to outrun the cops ....TOWING A TRAILER !!!!

Dang. time to pull out the old kryptonite lock. Even that I am sure they can get through, but would hopefully buy some time or make them go to a easier target.

Wish I still had my alarm wheel lock....

I knew no one was going to steal the 11 (too heavy), because of all the thefts I've been reading about on the CSC I actually had to go the trouble of getting full coverage on the new 1000 (A whopping $210/year for $250 deductibles, guess getting older isn't always bad).

I'm fine however with someone breaking into my garage to steal the bike, that'll be one less thief in the world as I'm a light sleeper and we have a little LED that stays green if the door is closed and flashes red if it's been left open!

I saw that this evening as well. Best investment I've made is LoJack and a wheel lock.. gives me some peace of mind at night at least.
