I guess the title says it all. I'm new to the area but I've been riding for a few years. I just got out of the Marine Corps. and moved out to parachute with my wife and her family. Currently I'm contemplating suicide because I cant seem to find anyone that rides a sport bike or anywhere to drag knee. (oh and some of you crazy mother f**kers don't where helmets)

anyway...
please do your part to save the life of a fellow rider and help me find some killer canyons before I decide to play chicken with a Mack truck

Tons of great roads out on the Western Slope. Do yourself a favor, pick up Steve Farson's book; The Complete Guide to Motorcycling Colorado (http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Guide-Motorcycling-Colorado-Definitive/dp/1884313922/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1345215129&sr=1-1&keywords=steve+farson). There's some great info on rides (well known and not so much) all over the state.

Yeah... so?! I thought it was a prerequisite to live on the western slope that you had to be well versed in riding dirty...

To quote your avatar, "It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter."

To me it doesn't matter, but I ride a 950Adv. I guess it depends on what kind of bike he rides. I'm guessing not an dual sport, most people don't drop knees on these suckas.

@ to the original poster. There are some sportbikers in GJ. Find the facebook CSC page and look for a guy named Jake Cram. It seems like he's always looking to ride.
