Also if you don't plan to eat breakfast with us that do, still meet up 9:00 am at this IHOP so we can all roll as a group in there and check in. My # is 720-237-3401 if you need me for anything. Also I wont be stopping at the school but will keep going straight and turning around cause have to run a few errands in the afternoon so you can do that or still stop at the school for all the lunch and drinks provided at no cost.

Just register independent with no club affiliations since I am not in any position to add this here club to anything without permission so ja, unless it's mandatory now then I'll contact the bauce here and see what's up.

Last year the heads said they didn't want the club represented/affiliated. I would guess it to be the same this year.

Oh yea, they're good people and this parade has been going on for quite some time now. This is my 4th year

It's pretty cool. Seeing all the bikes at staging is pretty impressive, there's tons of people that come out to show support along the route, and hanging out having lunch and bs'ing at the end ain't too shabby.

Part of my hesitance is the total time involved. For planning, if the goal is to get there about 30 minutes before it starts and then leave immediately after, about how long do you think it would be round-trip?

I wanna say we got up to the school around 1 but don't remember for sure. The return trip is generally at the pace of your choosing as you're on your own.

Cool got him down, my soccer coach son Steve died in that shooting unfortunately too so these type of events definitely help remember the good in those that died....

I moved to colorado from NC and remember when the shootings happened at columbine and then each one after that. Seems like a great cause. If I get off work I will definitely do it and the 5k.

Assuming I can go at all I will let you know Wednesday or Thursday. I want to do breakfast but that is almost an hour of pre-dawn ride from my place. 50s are fine, 30s not so much.

On a side note for people not familiar with that area of town, on Google Maps at least Cross Dr becomes Long Dr at Wadsworth so the IHOP is at Long and Bowles. It took me some searching to figure it out as that is not my area :)

Im not a fair weather rider by any means really, have ridden all my bikes in snow without problems. Just the fact I didnt sleep well last night due to my blood sugar being sky high and the errands I had to run I figured good time as any. I usually run all the way and stay for lunch then take the back way home through turkey creek, deer creek to ken caryl valley. Did you guys end up going all the way?
