Knee wasn't even close. Dragged a peg or toe, freaked out. He could have ridden it out if he hadn't panicked. Noob!

Never seen anyone do that, seriously... if you feel that you lost it let go but don't almost break your arm (unless he did) foolishly attempting to save it.

Looked like a toe touch to me. I got scared the first time my toe ever hit, but I damn sure didn't put a hand down... My problem was I was riding on the balls of my feet with my toes facing out. (Not riding flipper-footed or whatever, I was on the ball of each foot, just pointed out) Two laps later I was dragging knee though ;)

I know it's human instinct when you are going down to put your hands out to brace the fall but in this situation :wtf:

Yeah, toe first. Agree with OP, probably shouldn't be leaning that much with just sneakers & jeans!

This specific turn is famous for crashes....even years ago before cameras were brought out to there. But I am sure you're right and it has definitely added to the wanting to look good in front of the camera.

There is a big stretch just after the turn up the hill where everyone parks so there is always a crowd.

The toe of his (what appear to be) skate shoes starts rubbing (not a problem), then catches & folds under the peg (problem). Watch the sole of his shoe between 22-26 seconds. That's what freaked him out (IMO).
