my friend and I are heading down that way being that neither of us have ever been down there before. leaving from MOCO @ 9 sharp and would love to have some company that has been that way before but also down with some route suggestions even if your not coming. Also post if your coming because we both live in the hills (evergreen/conifer) so if no one else wants to join we will skip the trip to Morrison.
text me if it's easier

Just before cripple creek take the loop around victor. Heading out of victor into c.creek be careful. Seems that they don't clean up the gravel.

If you have time head on south to http://www.bishopcastle.org/ The roads to and from it are great and the castle is something you have to see.

Super-zHero, I've ridden down there once. I took Deckers to Woodland Park, 24 to Divide and south to CC. I might be sweet talked into going tomorrow if you don't mind me stopping a lot to take pictures.

that was the plan but I don't think I'm leaving early enough to do that ride tomorrow. If it takes way less than I think than we might make BC. =)

lol...not a problem but you'll have to lead as the mirrors only allow for so much viewing beyond my elbows and I wouldn't want to leave ya hanging if you wanted to stop.

Actually, biikChiQ, if you go during the week and want some company, let me know. I've never been and wouldn't mind going.

Super-zHero, what's your plan for tomorrow? CC and back or are you planning on something else, too?

stopping a lot to take pictures.

That's one of the main reasons. Just got in a new lens, can't wait use it.

good ride today..nice paced..:devious:.240 miles to Victor and ate lunch in a Cripple Creek casino. Trees are just turning and not quite as vibrant as Mt Evan's is now ...but next week probally will be their prime time. Good time to go to Bishop's Castle run!!!:dunno:
Now I have this song stuck in my head " I found my sweet thrills...on horse power hill"
