The small company I work for has an opportunity for someone with Microsoft SQL 2005+ experience, particularly with SSIS. I will likely be involved in the interview process but will not be involved in the salary negotiations. The listing will include "Colorado Office" but in actuality is a work-from-home job once the initial training is through.

Position: Data Analyst
Description: Smith LTD Management Group is seeking a motivated Data Analyst to perform ETL and Report Design/Distribution in our Colorado Office.
Duties:
• Maintain existing SQL Server 2005 SSIS packages and VB.Net code base used in transforming disparate client data.
• Create new SSIS packages and VB.Net code necessary for transforming disparate client data as need arises.
• Upgrade existing SQL Server 2005 SSIS packages to SQL Server 2008 R2 packages, including custom Assemblies.
• Maintain existing stored procedures, functions, views in SQL Server 2008 R2.
• Create new stored procedures, functions, views in SQL Server 2008 R2.
• Maintain existing reports designed in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Create new reports in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word as needed.
• Provide data audit assistance during monthly load reviews. Ensuring the integrity of data during the loading process is paramount to the continued success of the company.
• Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) would be welcomed but is not required.
Requirements:
• 2 + years experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or later), SSIS and VB.Net.
• 2 + years experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functionality (PivotTables, Macro’s, VBA).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Good written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team, both locally and remotely.
• Ability to work from home full time and maintain a high quality of work.
Salary/Benefits:
