View Full Version : As we approach this Day of the Dead...

Let us stop and remember those of the CSC lost in the ethers of time, or the archives now inaccessible... or whatever.

There as that guy or guys nobody liked because they were (allegedly - or not) freeloaders and deadbeats who owed... Butters, and ummm... Ripper... and ummm... yeah all those others who I've forgotten.

There were those oh so fun to egg on gangbangers ummm... "club types" the Fluff ... errr. Ruff Ryders from down south... and their oh so lovely vests!!!

Then there were the banned / unbanned / rebanned / unknown banned status types... some of whom have returned, some of whom have never gone away... some of whom never came back / got unbanned... I lost track of who they were - except of course Barn and Brizz, the former who is synonymous with being banned, the latter with instigating ban worthy material! Love you two!!! Seriously... you two are awesome.

And... lest we forget... Le Sigh... the ladies. So many have come and joined us... so many have been scared away by so many of us... so many have been the subject of much rumor, speculation, and oft completely inappropriate oogling --- can you blame them for leaving?

Let's give a shout out to those who have come and gone,... sadly I've forgotten so many of their names (screen, because dammit I barely know anyone's real name). Revive them as we approach this Day of the Dead... recount your stories and times - good or bad!

Approaching this most festive of holidays, I probably miss Kim & Dean the most. If it weren't for them and their yearly party, I wouldn't have 1/4 of my favorite memories of this club.

Actually, make that 1/8 the memories... I only remember about 50% of those parties anyway.

Glad I was able to enjoy a few of the later parties.... Too bad certain people couldn't handle their alcohol and manners.

I know these came later... But I kinda miss the Tuesday Buffalo Wild Wings evenings out in Lakewood.

Is it ticket prices? Or can you not get away from work? I actually got a killer deal with Southwest. $220 round trip. That's the cheapest holiday ticket I've ever bought.

A bit of all of the above

1. Still trying to get settled
2. Work is busy, but I have the holiday off
3. Haven't really looked into ticket prices, but moving to MD was expensive and I need to save my money for Christmas
4. Still waiting for Vet records so I can get my pup into a kennel.

Above all, gotta stop the cash hemorrhaging that's been going on this month while trying to get moved.

I do. I remember this one time me, him, and a new chick ended up at Paco's Last Stand. Eventually Barn came up and we got trashed beyond trashed. Big ass bonfire, bands, big ass beer trucks that were tapped right out of the side. Ahhh that was a hell of a night!

i dont really know what this is all about cept for you all re-living the ole days....hee haw.....

It was a helluva run Mitch, you probably would have loved it.

This place is a far more proper "Motorcycle Club" nowadays than it ever was back in the early years. We all "rode", but the "club" was everybody partying together (in some form) year after year after year after.... The political threads got heated, but we all knew we'd have to face each other at The Breck the next Wednesday.

Weekend long AMA parties in catered suites...
K&D's Halloween parties...
Ski trips and 48 Hours of Keystone get-downs ...
Years of Wednesday Nights at The Breck...
Log-jammed annual BBQs with filthy B-grade porn girls in attendance...
Parties just because...
Pure CRAZINESS at The Breck...
All of it was the shit.

We probably rode together because eventually we sobered up and it was time to see parts of the state we hadn't seen yet. Together.

I see bits and pieces of it carrying on today, but it's just one of those things that comes with being New I think. It's still a great club, but it's hard to top certain things. The CSC has its new traditions now.
