For a limited time I can get a new GoPro HD1 for about $140. Should I get one as my X-mas present to me? I don't plan on using it for too much more than motorcycle rides. I don't extreme ski or anything. Worth it? Thoughts from owners? Discuss!

My store is selling the HD1 brand new in box for $129.99

We are also selling the Hero 2 Outdoors edition for $199.97

That being said, at least get the HD2. Its WELL worth the increase of costs

you can get a gopro HD 2 for 199.

There is also the Contour 1080P. It is what I have and like it:

Probably can be found cheaper on Ebay or by shopping around

Thanks for the link Jefe! I'm going to be using this mostly for hi-light situations, so I don't think the advantages are a whole lot for me, and money IS an issue since I'd STILL have to buy a 32GB memory card.

Thanks Nate! I'll have to look at that.

I'm interested because I wish I had one when Cajun and I did almost 2,400 miles thru Utah and AZ last summer.
