Hey if you right click those photos you shoukd be able to get the photo details from there. In those details might be a gps tag of where the photo was taken.

Depending where its uploading to, such a dropbox, it could be stripping the geo data to avoid lawsuits because now days you have to enable geo tagging because people got pissy (or caught) in the past when it was enabled by default.
