was thinking maybe one of those helicopter tours....anyone done one and if so how was it?

any other ideas welcome.... aside from the obvious that involve : beer, steak and nakedness :-)

I've been in helicopters before. It is very weird your first few times. Very loud, lots of vibration and an odd suspended-from-above feeling. I don't know about the tour aspects of it. I would think it is kind of cool, but I don't think you are looking for an idea for me. (If so, my wife wouldn't be too cool on it, FYI).

Other than that, I think beer and nakedness is good. A little boring, but good.

Valentines day is just another commercial holiday for unimaginative men to spend money... I find it horribly corny to do anything on "valentines day". But that's just me. Got a good girl? Do something special on a random day "just because" for her.

+1 valentines day is dumb as hell, I don't need a card corporation to tell me when I should tell my wife I love her and buy her flowers and fattening candy. I do that on my own time and more than once a year.

When I worked at a local hospital, we had numerous injured patients come in from the indoor skydiving place, so I am quite skeptical of the place. Just my $ .02

thanks all!! The cool thing is you can make a day of it since there is so many things up there to do. After snowmobiling we went down to Idaho Springs and rented one of the private hot baths then did dinner and drinks in the town.


P.S. I agree on the commerciality of Vday and how it sucks (for all holidays really), but anyone that thinks your girl doesn't want to feel special on that day and doesn't do something is risking a angry/sad girl!

:spit: What...it is always nice for a small change and for you gals it is less than a inch of a difference from the norm. Plus free...it's the thought that counts remember :D



And I did give a real suggestion too; snowmobiling, hot tub, dinner. :) but that at end will make it where he never forgets the experience
