View Full Version : Where to buy RC cars

My son is having a birthday in a few days and like a true procrastinator I have nothing to give him yet. He has asked for a "SWEET" remote control car. Since I am new to the area, I thought I would ask for suggestions on where to shop. I live in Longmont but am going into Denver tonight.

Anyone?

What happened to Hobby Town? They used to be on Main St in old town and had a good selection of RC stuff. Hmm their website is still up. http://www.hobbytown.com/Longmont-CO/

Yup Hobby Town! One on University and Arapahoe too; since you said you will be coming into Denver

They are still there and I stopped by last night. I am just wondering if there are some local Mom and Pop type places I should be looking at first.

Is colpar or colbar hobbies still around? I think. I bought my first RC at the one at Hampen and Wadsworth and last I saw it was still there

The only location I know of is hampden and wadsworth but not sure if they may have something as far as longmont or near there. They got some cool stuff, I used to buy models for planes and cars to build there back in middle school just to pass the time at home and shit :lol:
