Even so, styling looks more like Volvo than MB. (Cover up the grill and the roofline is pretty generic)

AMG has had a few ugly front mods, this is not how the rest of the line looks like just the AMG. its not 100 percent different but slightly closer to the current benz look

I will give them the fact that they squeezed out good power out of a 4 banger to match up with the I6/V6 power houses nowadays.... and yes will agree with the Volvo comment there lol

are you sure about that? if the numbers are what they say, its faster in 1/4 faster in the 1/8 faster in the 0-60 the 335xi has alot of issues another reason you can pick one up so cheap. its not great performance, twice as much to gain HP as it is with the S4 and IS and G37
the 335xi is not faster then the rs4 or is-f or m3 which are not faster then the 911 even with the best Chip with no other mods its still .3 to .6 slower then a stock 911 and on the track please Apples to Oranges. of course a Modded 335xi can match a 911 but any brand car can be made to match it

but i will give the 335xi its due bang per buck its why alot dont pay the extra for the m3

Oh don't get me wrong, I was just poking a little fun at the STI. ;) I'm not saying that it isn't practical, or that it isn't a fun car to drive. It's a driving enthusiast's vehicle for sure! It's designed to be lightweight, and rocket from from A to B in most driving conditions, and marketed towards a specific consumer segment.

That said, the STI is not a luxury car. It lacks the styling, refinement, and creature comforts that come with owning a Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Audi, etc. If I had to choose one to drive around a track or for some other type of spirited driving, even I'd pick an STI or EVO. But if I'm going to be driving for any great distance or time I'll stick with my Audi or any other luxury model for that matter. Basically, if had to choose between which car to own, an STI or EVO would not be my first choice. But that's because I've been spoiled by my Audi, and would have a hard time downgrading to a Subaru or Mitsubishi.
