KTM RC8R on pole hill.
This is a great road. Killer short sweepers, double apex, and tight technical turns.

Is that road paved all the way through from Loveland side to 36 Estes side?

It becomes private at about pinewood Res. It remains paved for as long as I have ridden it. It is really cool as it curves through the woods toward estas. Let's check it out, take a little tour till its dirt.

You can see the transition on Google Maps and where it comes out on US 36.

Looks like a fun road to check out, I'd ride it for a ways even if its dirt as longs as its not mud or rutted out.

It is a super moto dream land. 2 other killer roads to check out after the rain are magnolia rd and four mile canyon. Both are off boulder canyon. I find them to be very stimulating lower speed roads. I never see bikes on em.
The little rise in the road u can see. Is a 3rd gear wheely spot. It's perfect to power over and let the front end snap up!

One of my favorite roads too. Lots of tight and blind corners. If you like that one, check out sunshine canyon next time your in Boulder. Turns to dirt after about 6 miles. But that 6 miles sure is fun! :harrrrr:

Sunshine is a dandy! Let's get a ride together of obscure boulder rides.

I'd be up for that, there are a few good short rides in the Boulder area, some I probably don't even know about, yet.

Yeah its a good cafe cruiser area. The roads that are in and out of boulder are fun with nice stops. You barely have to speed if any to rip it up on those tight roads, love em!

Magnolia is a good time. The uphill side closest to Boulder Canyon that is paved is wicked.

Definitely a must do! A group is emerging. A ride is in the works. A couple more rains and it should be good.

There are bold drifters, and old drifters, but no old bold drifters.
