I have the scala q2 setup. I'm looking for a radar detector that will work with my Bluetooth through my scala.. Any suggestions?

I have a Q2 as well and looked for the same thing.

The problem is your Q2 can only be paired to one bluetooth device at a time. For me its my iphone (provides music and gps directions).

Here's what I did instead and found it works very well.

Get a screamer and two of the LED attachments. Attach the LEDs to your mirror.

The screamer is required. It's pretty loud and you can hear it at high speed but the flashing LED lights get your attention plus warn the riders behind you of the threat.

For the mount I went with the Ram Mount radar detector mount. It's a plate with two magnets and a metal plate that you adhere to the radar detector. It comes with double sided sticky tape but that didn't work, just super glue the metal plate onto the radar detector.

For radar I use a escort 9500ix -- it's the top of the line but $500 retail but cheaper online.

The whole setup isn't cheap (about $700) for I've had zero tickets since I went with it.
