Normally this is something that I and/or bornwildnfree would do, but neither of us are available this year.

We need 1 or 2 people to do the following:
- show up around 9:30-9:45 to set up (a canopy, table, and chairs will be provided, as well as banners, flyers and a bowl of candy).
- occupy the booth (between 10AM and 5PM - this can be split into shifts) and answer questions about the club
- tear down & pack up (canopy , table, chairs, etc.), and if you're able, help ABATE tear down and pack up some of their stuff too.

More Info: http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=50176

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks in advance!

Let me see what my Sunday looks like, WB. If I can do this, it would in an early-relief type capacity, maybe say 12:00 to 14:00 or so.

Food being for sale at the event would be critical to my manning of the booth.

Yes (as you already figured out), food will be available.

Thanks! I'd like at least one person there who can answer questions about the club, but you're still more than welcome to help!

Figures you'd stay inside on a 70-degree day, when "motorcycle stuff" is going on!

I would but I have an appointment with my couch  It's because you will still be crying on that couch when your "favorite fighter", Chael Sonnen, beats Jon Jones the night before!

Fuck Sonnen and Jones lol, I don't like either anyways, I just want to go to the fights to have a good time and food while blood gets spilt

I would help but I am also new. If you want, I might be able to go in for an hour or so, to give the guys a break. Will that help at all?

I say yes! Even "noob" input is good feedback to have at-the-read for somebody asking questions at the booth. This definitely doesn't have to be an ol' boys club type of thing, just honest (hopefully generally positive) conversation with people who are interested in us. Hope to see you there.

I am a good sales person. I could push your t-shirts.

I have done a lots of Garden and Home shows at the convention center.
I started the Colorado 3000GT Stealth Club (co3s.org) back in 1999.
I have organized a number of car gatherings.
I have had many CO3S owners bring their cars to my house so we could work on them together.

I just thought, only if needed, I could give the guys a break to eat something or just to take a quick walk. I can also talk from the Noobs point of view and tell them how the club is great for me.

The main thing is that I haven't asked my wife yet, so I may not be able to come anyway, but if I do, I would not mind helping if need be.

Those are nice qualifications but the most important one that's missing is "I can bring a cooler full of beer." :D You can feel free to show up. Just make sure to bring the $150 new member dues with you. Bob said he hadn't received it yet.

Edit: forgot the safety wink. ;)

Beer is not an issue. Are you old enough to drink? :)

Is the $150 annually or one time? What is the paypal account for Bob?

I'd like to pop by to at least say "hello," but I am studying for the Written Comprehensive Examination for my Master's Degree.

If I get too much "glaciers/sedimentology and stratigraphy" on the brain, perhaps I'll take a break and zip down there.
