Im looking for a quiet romantic place to ride to in the northern colorado area. I was thinking red feather but there is a tribe of hippies camping there right now.

Are you planning on some nookie during the ride, or trying to get her warmed up for later?

Don't you know all you need is the vibration from the engine between her legs to get her "reved" up!

Sorry, don't got a spot to help though....

Devils Gulch out of Estes is a very pretty ride, and it's north, if its during a weekday there wont be any traffic but even on the weekend its not bad at all it has plenty of green to look at and you get to ride along the north fork the river. Just take it easy though as Devils gulch is pretty technical, the way to get there from Estes is here (http://goo.gl/maps/t96ls)

To ride TO? as in destination? Or as part of the trip?

Devils Gulch ending at the Stanley Hotel in Estes
Poudre Canyon over Cameron Pass, and/or onto a B&B in Steamboat Springs

Adam's waterfalls is pretty cool. It's in Grand Lake. Beautiful ride across Trailridge, stop in grand lake for some nookie by the waterfall, then grab some BBQ at The Sagebrush and head on towards Winterpark.

I suggest a short day trip to a nice bed and breakfast place located somewhere with no wildfires - with a hot tub in the room.

Okay, how bout Snowy Range Pass? Breath-taking views, fairly secluded, great riding, a number of places to stop and do your one-knee bit. It's Hwy 130 west from Laramie. Spend the night at Saratoga Inn in Saratoga if you really want to impress her.
