This is on a 2005 Z750S
Bike was serviced and tuned in August of 2012 and I've ridden it weekly since.
Main Issue - Dash overheat light is cycling on and off even in relatively cool weather. This started in Sept. last year, at the time I thought the fan temp switch had gone out so I direct wired the fan to a switch and handled it manually. Fast forward to this year and here is what I have done:
Replaced fan temp switch - New one works properly
Drained, flushed and refilled coolant
Replaced the thermostat
"power" flushed the cooling system with the hose
Visually inspected the water pump impeller for damage/wear
Replaced the pressure cap
Bled the system repeatedly
The results of all that are that it now overheats less often and cools off quicker but I'm still getting the warning light. This happens sitting at idle
or at highway speeds and of course sitting in traffic. The fan will kick on after the overheat light has come on, according to the manual the fan trigger temp is a solid 30F lower than the warning temp however.
At this point I'm thinking it is an electrical/sensor issue and it's triggering far lower than it should. The bike isn't cooking me, power seems fine, I don't think I have an overly lean cylinder or anything. I did just order a laser temp gauge so I can check each pipe for hotspots however.

I'd love some input and feedback from you guys, thank you!
