Anyone running them yet? Reviews? I just put a set on the Triple since I've had good experiences running Q2s on prior bikes.

Who's the local rep now since 'Scer left for Pirelli?

Steve Mills is the Dunlop race tire rep for the area, but dunno about street tires.

I've been getting good reviews from customers on the Q3s performance-wise, but no real data on longevity yet. This tire has been available for about a month now, so I probably won't hear much about life expectancy until towards the end of August.

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for but..

I ran a Q3 rear (purchased at Performance Cycle) in MW/LW Endurance this last round. I didn't break any records, but managed to put down a 1:48 and it felt really good given the fact it had just rained prior to the race and this was my first race since a low side that sort of rattled me. I'm looking forward to using it as an endurance tire in the coming rounds.

Thanks Jamie, I can extrapolate to the street. The Triple spec pressure is 36/42 which to me, seems way high. I was curious what you ran at PMP. 32/36? Guess I'll see after tomorrow when I scrub them in.

Track pressure for Q2s are 32 front and rear according to Dunlop Race Tire Service and I am assuming it is the same or very close for Q3s. On the street I did like running 36/42 on the Q2s for longevity.

I ran a little lower on the rear, more like 29. I had read Dunlop does recommend 32 or so for the Q2 but with the rain/dust/dirt storm that moved through, I left it a few PSI lower.

Going from a BT016 to the Q2 I find the front needs a little more psi. The profile on the Q2 makes them feel heavier on the steering to me.
I run 35/34 cold on the street and it works real well. A lighter bike might like something a little different.

I've read they changed the profile on the front Q3 to make it turn a little better. If so that should make them pretty much perfect.

So far as mileage on a Q2... my bike and riding style give me about 1800 miles from the rear..

I scrubbed in the Q3's yesterday to Deckers and I'd say the new profile makes tip-in a breeze; of course this was the Triple where it's instantaneous. Seemed to hold a line once tipped over, with little countersteering force needed on the bars. Got rid of all the little new tire nubs except for the last outer row.

I may have to order a front Q3. I have a set of brand new Q2's to go on my TLR.. and my only complaint ever was the heavier feel to the steering.
