For me it varies depending on where I am riding. In town/commuting the VFR will get low to mid 40s and the Tuono will get high 30s to maybe 40. Now if I am in the canyons having fun the Tuono is low 30s I cant remember for sure but I think I managed to push my old GSXR1000 down to 28 or 29 on a spirited ride once...

My FZR averages around 62 no matter how I ride it (not track day), and the DRZ gets around 55. I did 1241 miles on 19 gallons of fuel last week on a Honda NT700V, for average 65 MPG. It pays to be a flyweight!

My FJR Came with a set of Pirelli Angel ST's, brand spankin new! I've put about 1700 miles on them in 2 weeks and I just lost the little angel imprint on the tire. I think I'll get around 10,000 miles out of them!

08 DRZ SM On a good day I get 22 mpg(@ IMI), on a bad day I get 55 mpg...

I get about 44-45 on the connie in general. A little less when on the throttle hard, and a bit more (52ish) when just cruising the freeway.

I'm thinking my next big bike will be a Concours. That is some good highway mileage you are getting.

A little less when on the throttle hard,

And that my friends is the trick....
Easy on the throttle will get exceptional mileage.
If you ride within your limits with very little hard acceleration and minimal braking you will do just fine!

On the Devil's Spine trip, my SV averaged about 31 mpg, but that was trying to keep up with liter bikes and FJRs for hundreds of miles.

My SV1000 wasn't very good on fuel either. I was averaging low-mid 40's. Also had to ride that bike harder than the connie for a given speed.

Yeah, on that trip I was WOT most of the time so I didn't expect to get the usual mileage from her, but I was still quite shocked when my fuel light started flashing around 120-130 miles. Under normal riding she does really well, I don't normally see a light until roughly 180-190 miles and have gone 20 miles past that only to find I still had 1/2 gallon to spare. Aaron's SV1000 generally needed to refuel aound 140-150 miles too.

I get can get 40 - 48 on my mostly stock 2009 R6. I converted to a 520 chain and a -1 +1 sprocket change without any noticeable drop in MPG. I would have been OK getting 30s after the gear change because it makes the bike so much better!

Getting about 6-8 miles per Gallon. ( 1/4 mile at a time) and the best part is that the fuel I have to run costs $8.75 per Gallon.

I routinely see 40-50mpg when cruising between 70-80mph according to the live MPG readout on the Speed Triple. The Triple can guzzle fuel when riding hard. I don't have an exact # on my 600RR, but I can say I have seen over 150 miles on a tank in the canyons riding what I will call "keeping Clovis in sight pace."

Joker, the newer Concours are great bikes, not my style, but my dad has a '11 or '12 and loves it. Heated grips, proximity keyless setup, electronically adjustable windscreen, and other stuff make it a perfect bike for long hauls. I have only ridden it once, and while not feeling fast due to the size it hauls ass. It is deceptive how fast you hit arrest me speeds on that big bike. If my memory is correct you have or had a ZX-14 so the power won't impress you that much, but coming off a 600RR it felt like it had a jet engine, just keeps pulling when my 600 would run out of steam.

47 MPG on the Z, that's mainly highway commuting. I even went +1 up front, but that hasn't given me much of an improvement. I'll probably go back to stock when I replace the chain.

41 on mine, stock chain/sprocket, aggressive with the throttle, 320 lb rider, and no windshield because of bad bobble head at highway speeds.

I have the Road 2s as well and I have somewhere around 10k on mine and they're good for another 2-3k. I do mainly highway cruising with it. I get around 47mpg cooking down the highway, but today I kept it at 80 and the indicator said 52 and was climbing. It is usually about 2-3 mpg optimistic.

mine only has a k&n filter, those 4 tipped spark plugs and tires aired up to manufacture spec. this is based off my stock mpg thing on my dash so who knows, but I have a speedo healer and everything seems to as accurate as gps. need to get the pc3 for this thing soon to smooth it out a bit more.

I averaged 66 MPG on a two day trip last week on my FZR. Speedo seems accurate, fill up same way every time, stock gearing, stock rear tire is a 140 and I run a 150, so maybe it's a bit taller but I always get crazy good mileage on her.
