FYI- it's 287 NOT 285. (just making note, as I freaked out thinking it was 285)

I take Wadsworth from Littleton up to Lafayette every morning and when I ride it scares the shit out of me. Way too many fast sections with left hand turns.

Some more details are here (http://www.coloradoan.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2013307300021)

The Colorado State Patrol said the motorcycle rider either failed to stop or failed to yield as he pulled from Colorado Highway 14 onto eastbound U.S. Highway 287. An unloaded dump truck slammed into the motorcycle rider and then rolled over off the side of U.S. 287. The truck’s driver was extricated and flown by helicopter to Medical Center of the Rockies with serious injuries, CSP said.A blue SUV behind the dump truck hit the crashed Kawasaki motorcycle and then careened off the road, but the two occupants were uninjured.
