Two weeks ago I went on a scavenger hunt. At Echo Lake a guy pulled out in front of us, almost hitting the lead bike. This is one of the reasons I always record my rides.

That is why I always go about 20mph past Echo Lake. tourista trap at its best.

This.... Around that side I always go as slow as possible, people are always crossing that road on foot, have seen even pets on the run in that area... Man that was a close one!

Wow, what a dumbass for making what appears to be a u-turn across a double-yellow.... Gotta Agee, when I'm in high traffic areas like that I go way slow and am doubly cautious like you guys... Glad this ended well....

Speed differential trumps posted limit every time. In this case, relative to a bunch of parked cars. Yikes.
