View Full Version : Thoughts on this half a day ride

Planning about a half day ride. Its over 200 miles but covering a lot of the the mountians. Wonder if anyone has any thoughts on it or wants to join. when i would go is a unknow at this point depends on my work schedule. Here is a link of the route http://goo.gl/maps/x5zIx

That's more than a half day. Trial ridge has lots of slow traffic. It is a great loop though! I'd be up to doing it during the week.

heading in to my slow season for work so thats when i take time off how long you think that loop might take

Your map points you over Fall River Road. That is a one-way dirt road. Just sayin' :roll:

what part every where ive dropped down to sreet view its paved am i missing a section

My bad. Your map does avoid Old Fall River Road to the north of Trail Ridge (US 34). Have fun!

Just my 2 cents...I would go up Golden Gate or Coal Creek, instead of Boulder Canyon. It's a nice canyon, but the pavement sucks ass.

Took Trail Ridge on the way home Sunday. It was slow and painful, but a nice view.. :lol:
