Leather suit fitting and good places to go?

I've gone into Performance Cycle to try on leathers numerous times. I hope to get in some track days eventually, but will never race.
I was hoping to get into some of the cheaper, clearance ones for around $400 but they didn't have a size that fit me. I figured ok, I'll move my price range up to 700-900. But those still didn't fit me perfectly apparently. Of course, then I get into the $1,500 suit which fits best... go figure...
So am I doomed to have to pay 1,500 for leathers to fit, or are there other places that carry brands that may fit me better?

And lets clarify what makes a good fitting leather suit. From what I understand so far..
-you shouldn't be able to stand up completely straight, at least comfortably when they are new
-the leathers should be holding the arms slightly forward, can't move them back
anything else?

Also, most of the leathers I remember trying were Alpinestars. The ones that fit were the Atems. Size 40
I'm about 6'0, 180lbs or more depending how much I've been lifting, or 175 if I let myself go and stop lifting and get fat

I to am 6' 180lbs and I use a 46 US Alpinestar fits good I can stand up almost strait. Try putting one on at a shop then go sit on a bike. I got a $1000 suit like new for $450! You can get some killer deals on craigs if your patient!

303 has Dainese, make sure you're wearing the back protector you'll be using cause the fit is totally different. I have a Dainese Wave 12 L2 for $125 I'll sell

Also Bates and Vanson, but they are going to be pricey. I bought a Frank Thomas suit for 250. It's not super comfy but it gets the job done.

If your going to spend $1500, you might as well go custom. You will get better fit and quality than an "off the rack" suit. Contact Nate Butler at 720-243-2059 and he can build you one.

For the $$, I would say RS Taichi and Dainese are you best quality. Like Native said above, make sure to try on your suit with the back protector you intend on wearing because it will make a difference.
You can also get a custom suit made (here in town) with whatever design, colors, graphics you want on it that will fit you perfectly. :)

Also, as they said be patient. I just picked up a Dainese jacket and pants combo off ebay for $200 shipped, she misspelled Dainese as Dianese in the auction and it got almost no bids. I saved about $800

In addition to Nate, there's Spartan Leathers. If you're not having any luck with off the rack sizing you might as well go custom at the top end of prices.

If you want to save $$, I'd recommend you get whatever is close is size to what you need, wear it a few times to see what's wrong, then bring it to Nate and have him get it perfect for you. That's what I did!

Clothing designer out of Ames, IA that did a short run of leather suits 4 years ago. They donated 10 or so suits to the MRA for our Super Street Class students. They were well made and held up well until they were all stolen.

I've not had a Dainese suit it years, but the leather always seemed a lot thinner and they didn't seem to hold up as well in a crash. I used to wear Spyke. I agree with the comments about wearing your back protector when you try on a suit. For me it made me go up a size in suits.

And others have mentioned, keep your eye on ebay… If you know that say, Dainese suits fit you well, I oft times see suits going for 600-800.. I wouldn't buy a suit brand without having tried it on first. IMO, Alpinestars almost seems to run a size smaller for me...
