So this 2 mile wheelie was all done in 1st gear? :dunno: Why not shift? Just curious :oops:That is the whole principle of riding that wheelie. I wanted to share with some people that I can balance the bike out in first gear only. Shifting is easy. But try staying in a twitchy gear such as first! It's a little more difficult to do. Not for everyone but for most.

Barn, you are riding an R1 and haven't been able to wheelie in any other gear than first? Whats the problem, you pull a couple of spark plug leads before riding? What kind of mod would that be, a chicken-ectomy?

Not plug leads, fuel injectors.

Ok that's what I figured  I got into the whole stunt thing for a while, but found I liked twistie roads (canyon/track) riding better. I found the stunt riding was pretty hard on my bike, so now I let my buddies do it and I watch. You know a guy named Joe Meets, who works at Fey Meyers? Now that boy can stunt 8) Hoopty on this board can stunt pretty well, but he has concentrated mostly on racing nowadays............

P.S. I have respect for stunters as long as they do it safely and I don't see them riping down I-25 with no gear and a girl on the back (find a nice vacant lot for that with all your gear on).

First of all if you look around all my videos. These wheelies are "NOT" around any traffic. Hell it takes like 45 minutes to get to my spot. The road is fairly new, four lanes two down two up. Plus has big shoulders, and a BIG middle divider. So keeping my wheelies away from everyone, like the soccer Mom's or how ever you want to put it. That is what I did, and I am doing! Now just one question before this becomes a stunters bashing. Doesn't anyone like my wheelies???

Keep practicingand.......... certain people say you can't get anywhere from being a stunter! Not going to say names. But this is a clear example of how stunting if done right can be fun, exciting for others, as well as safe! Look the guy WHEELIE KING died in two thousand. Not from stunting motorcycles, but from an aircraft. Ultralite thingy. Which I would love to try out one day. Ok so I am not saying that I am the master in wheeling. Good gawd people! I am only saying that I had a goal of two miles in first gear on a completely stock 2005 zx10r! I accomplished that goal, and who knows what is next? Maybe three hundred miles, like the wheelie king himself did! Thanks for the website plug. This is just what I am looking for to help inspire my ideas of stunting!

I have removed the BS from this thread. Hopefully things will stay that way.

Also, and I hope I did this right, I created a new usergroup, in which membership is required in order to post or reply in this forum. New members are automatically added to this group, and all existing members were added, but I removed TTT.

It's too bad it had to come to this. :|

Good move Bob. Troy has zero to offer to this forum. I still do wish you and your moderators would start carding people though, when they begin showing trends of just go into a forum/topic, to be jackasses.

Or atleast start giving people some warnings to cool it, or a card is in their future. Something similar to what you were doing with your "T-minus X till lockdown" comments.

No disrespect to these guys as people, cause they're my friends for the most part, but I have to say that the CSC Moderators have about zero visibility in drama filled threads like these, and thus, they're position is functionally ineffective. :dunno:

What gets me is the people that don't like stunters could choose to just not look at this forum (many other forums to choose from), but instead they have to come in and start drama. Come on be adults and if you don't like something just avoid it; no need to post your rant......

Anyways I give props to all safety oriented stunters. It's not as easy as it seems to do stunts and takes some balls just like racing does. To each their own, so let's get back on topic. Not too bad of wheelies (much better than I could do) :D

actually the whole felony freestyle crew is good.

to answer your earlier question,
once you get the bike to balance point, you can maitain a constant rpms, there fore being able to ride a wheelie until you run out of road or your arms get tired.
:)

anthony- lean back alittle, you wil be surprised how much longer you can ride them when your arms arent holding on for dear life :)

any 2 miles in 26 secs,
how fast were you goin 240 mph ... in first

Now back on topic - Ant, did you install aftermarket parts or mod your oil pick-up so not to run dry when up that long?No I have not installed anything aftermarket. Well I do have a slip on but that is it. Kelly, I was going around 80mph the whole way. I currently broke my own record of two miles... I now hold my own record of 3.5 and I am going to work on second gear so I don't blow my motor up! I want to hit ten miles on one wheel... Hmmmm Might be challenging. Also to Kelly, I am working leaning back more so I don't work my arms so much! Thanks for the tips!

Too late.

1 mile long wheelie and the damage is already done.

First off... Learn how to use the quotation markers you knob.

Second... Yeah... the reason should be logical why I don't do that.
Because I don't feel the overwhelming need justify my existence through self-glorifying videos tossed up on motorcycle clubs' forums in which I refer to myself in the 3rd person just to get further attention for my poorly veiled pathetic attempts to justify my life through random acts of stupidity on a motorcycle.

dude i have nothing against the anster but hey he knows the reaction he is going to receive on this site on anything he posts....

O'DOYLE RULES!!!

Unlike everyone else who has jumped in here, Anthony has posted a video of hisself doing something cool. Everyone else says, "YES! WE CAN TOO BUT DON'T WANT TO SHARE AND IT ISN'T FAIR, WHAT WITH HIS SKILLZ AND ALL!"

So ask yourself....who actually CAN do it, and who else just wants the bash the lone guy who did? Or the other guy who just points out the obvious?

I don't think anyone other than self proclaimed stunnas said the could do it, they said they had no interest in doing do it. The fact that you and a few select people think it is cool is your biz. I and a great deal of people that know his history are not impressed. He is not all that good, there are many others that actually have decent skills that are entertaining to watch, and don't post clips taken with a cell phone.
Why in the hell is this thread been brought back

your right... I don't even own a bike... I just like to sit around and give the people on this board a hard time for giving other riders a hard time..

or maybe its I don't waste my time by videoing myself and posting it on boards where I know that everyone hates me.... jealous??? ok sure I'm jealous of not being hated by 90% of the sport bike community.. you know what.... eee forget it...

Boy, I guess those of us that ride the track could post videos up of us dragging our knee thru the corners to brag... Oh, that's right... we're not so insecure that we feel the need to try to make everyone like us because we can do _________.

WOW, I thought the majority of you folks killed this topic along time ago. WOW, calling me an idiot, what gives you all the right to say that is beyond me. Oh well it is America, and the Freedome to say what you want. I guess hurting other people's feelings doesn't matter with some of you! I do not speak for all stunters or anyone for that matter. I was proud of my acheivements, and thought that I would demonstrate my technics of riding on one wheel. Guess even in the wheelie warriors section it still isn't a good idea. Wait a minute, I sense a lot of hatered to me, so I assume that anyone can post wheelies in this section as long as it isn't me. Oh well, I am not to worried about it. I will not loose any sleep over your opinions. Since about two months now I have not popped up a wheelie at all anymore. I bought some sport quads, and I am now doing that kind of stuff on those. I love my ZX10R, and I ride it at IMI street track, and trust me if I could afford to do so, I would do it at any other race track. I don't judge none of you all for your opinions nor' will I take it to heart how much some of you hate me! It's just a loosing battle with me. I made my bed so now I have to sleep in it!
As for stunting, I did all I ever wanted to do! I got it out of my system, and now I am focusing on the dirt section! I still ride street, get a little speedy at times, but basically I have not done anything to dramatic in a long time. One reason, is I am trying to better my license! I do still believe that there is a place and a time to stunt ride. I am not saying that I will NEVER ride a wheelie again. I am only saying that I have no interest in doing so right now. I do hope I was able to clear this up for you!

I will never forget how much fun wheeling is! I love it, but I don't like the tickets that comes with it! (This reply has "NOT" been edited for spelling).

Yea I am loving it! I bought two machines, 2005 TRX300EX for the Wife, and my 2002 TRX400EX for me. She likes to jump higher then me, as I like doing the flatland tricks. This has been a bump from the past, I just read all the comments.

November. 2004. Fox News.

Seems pretty obvious why to some of us.
