Does anybody happen to know where I can get this done in Pueblo? and how much this would cost me? Trying to register this piece'o'crap trailer and they're making me run the gauntlet just to register it. I've considered just not doing it....

FYI, this is not "VIN verification", this is Pueblo not accepting that it's suitable for the road and assigning a new number I believe... and of course, adding the appropriate fees.

Have you tried the local police/sheriffs department?

I don't believe the PD or SO does VIN inspections, just verifications. I'm not 100% sure on that though. And even if the PD did, you'd probably have to wait 2-3 hours to get an Officer.

Try CSP, they're located at 9th and Erie in a CDOT building.

The local police do them in the Springs...I talked to them last week about getting a certified inspection for my dirt bike that I just made street legal. They do them once a week, first come first serve. I think they cost right around $20. Give them a call and ask....it will probably be quicker than the CSP.

CSP actually gets through them really quickly down here. Not much demand, they'll have a Trooper come in and take care of it.
