Just read through the reddit threads... Dude was on an R1 doing about 110 when he hit that Mazda doing about 65-70 and was in a coma with brain bleeding for a month, but survived and fully recovered. Doesn't ride now. I'd say he got damn lucky after a wreck like that.

cpl yrs ago 4-5 of us was mtg folks for a ride at moco. From 470/broadway to the Morrison exit it seemed like it took us less than 10 min. The cagers were coming up fast....and at same time you have to anticipate there moves ...

Video worked fine for me. The real estimate is 110-120 at the time of impact, so about 50-60MPH faster than the car as it was moving at the time.

He got lucky to survive. he was stupid to take his eyes off the road at that speed. Perhaps better he quit the sport while he was ahead.
