I think that's footage of the tests the US government did in the Bikini Islands just after the end of WW2.

You are correct. Man, the U.S. sure did screw those island people. The kids were out playing in the fall-out like it was snow. They were told there was no danger from the test. Can you believe our government actually lied?!?!?

that wasn't a thermo-nuclear blast though. It was just a wee little one. that blast messed up 10 of those boats, suck I think 3-4? I play with bigger :)
