Randomly posting out to check if anyone else likes death metal or hard metal music by chance. I have been listening to it for years and have attended many shows. There is bound to be someone else on here who enjoys that. I will be attending the start of season ride next Saturday the 17th and at night at the Summit Music Hall downtown is a Devildriver and Whitchapel show. Curious if anyone else would be at the show! My concert buddy for the show got caught up with contract work so he won't be going.

I used to and still do when I'm in the mood for it. I have no idea who Devildriver is though:lol: Death, Deicide, Immolation, Cancer, Cannibal Corpse.. I was in the video for Obituary's The End Complete.

I didn't know how to title the thread but I like all kinds of metal. Even basic hard rock/classic rock. That's pretty badass you were in the video for Obituary! I was in a video for out friend's band Taking Dawn from Las Vegas but they're more hard rock than metal (sound like a spin off of Scorpions/Iron Maiden but they were legit and were signed to Roadrunner Records). Some of the bands I enjoy are Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Children of Bodom, All That Remains, Trivium, Devildriver, Disarmonia Mundi, Suicide Silence, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Static-x, Korn, Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Arch Enemy, Skeletonwitch, System of a Down, Rammstein, for the most part anything hard rock or metal of sort.

That's a good list as well! I forgot about some of those someone said they never heard of Devildriver tho they sound about the same as Lamb of God which is great! Killswitch Engage is Fuckin awesome too I forgot about them. I've seen a majority of that list live that you've listed. 2 cents is killer I've seen them probably 5 times both here and when I lived in California where they're from. 2 cents was the opening band for a bunch of shows when I was into DragonForce and they were opening for In This Moment when I saw them.

Is anyone going to the Summit gig on Saturday which is Devildriver and White Chapel?

I Dont know if some of the bands are Hot Topic style. Every time I'm in that store its more punk rock. Dimmu Borgir is definitely not punk, that's Norwegian Black Metal which is pretty hardcore and damn near devil worshiping if you listen to the lyrics(and can actually understand them), same with Behemoth out of Poland that's another death metal band I like and most if the lyrics are devil worship and hard to understand but I mainly enjoy the double kick drums and fast guitar riffs and the speed of everything.

When I ride my bike I have a Sena headset and I Bluetooth metal into my helmet and that's what gets me pumped up when. Riding, I'll usually bang the clip on bars during some good drum beats, not in the canyons tho :)
