I'm taking the rest of the week off and have nothing planned for Wednesday. I have no idea where, but I figure I might as well enjoy the sun and free time and ride. Anyone else off on Wed? Any suggestions?

Update:
Looks like the route has been decided on. Golden Gate to Boulder (via Nederland). Eat lunch in Boulder and then ride back.
Meet: 7-11 off of 93 right before Golden Gate Canyon Rd.
Time: 9:00, KSU 9:30

Be there or be square...or at work or something else boring. :)

Hmmm.....thinking....thinking....haa haa....I literally have nothing to do on Wed. So I could drive down to Pueblo (1 hr and 1/2)....but that's a heck of a long way to get to the "start" of a ride haa haa!!!

Totally not worth it either. MDH sucks, in fact most of the roads that take more then 45 min to get to suck. You should probably just stick to Deckers or GG or P2P. :)

How familiar are you with the routes? I've been on Turkey Creek, Deer Creek, etc several times. And once 6th to 119 to Boulder. But I've never gone to Deckers, Golden Gate or P2P. But I'm up for whatever...just wanna ride :)

I don't know them very well. But I have done Golden Gate more and I do work up there sometimes. We can do that and make our way to boulder via netherland.

That sounds like a plan. Let me know what time works for you and I'll update the title and make it official in case anyone else wants to join us.

Meet at MOCO? 9:00am? Lunch in Boulder then ride back? Or Just ride non-stop?

If you want to do goldengate we can start at the 7-11 it is closer to start at. But stopping in boulder for lunch is what I was thinking about

Have fun tomorrow yall!

I'm gonna try to ride on Thursday at around 2-3pm if any of you want to ride some more. I know it's a weird time to ride, but my plan is to start at the same 7/11 in Golden>Lyons>Nederland>Golden Gate. The roads should be pretty clear since most cagers will be at work at this time.
I'll post this ride in a new thread. KSU ~ 3;00pm at the 7/11 in Golden.

I think I've figured out that I can't do a two day ride like the Durango trip posted a while back....after Golden Gate and parting ways with Half LLive (and a quick stop at Fay Myers to drool over the new CBR650F in my favorite color that just arrived)...I then did Deer Creek, Turkey Creek, down through Morrison. My butt is sore!!! haa haa

I meant you can see through the corners, there aren't as many blind corners as some other rides.
