Hey all,
So I'm in the process of moving and my new apartment will unfortunately leave me without a garage as I've had in the past. I'm in Westminster, seems like a decent neighborhood but I'm still a little nervous about leaving my precious out in the open. My first buy will be a decent all-weather cover and beyond that I'm unsure what to get.

I know a heavy chain and lock would be a good thing but I really don't have anything good to lock it to in my parking lot. I've done a little research on disc rotor locks, the Xena locks with alarms seem like a good investment. I'm just wondering what other people are doing or using if they store their bikes outside, any advice is great thanks! :bananna:

Get a bottom floor apartment and bring it inside. Besides that if someone wants it they will take it.

Thanks for the info and links guys, I don't know if I can get it inside my unit but I'll have to give it a shot!

Glad links helped! Lo-Jack seems best option, but it costs.

When I parked at light rail I would bring a huge kryptonite motorcycle lock and chain it to a pole, then put an alarm disk lock too. Lock was to prevent someone from lifting it, and
alarm disk lock was to get people's attention if they did mess with it. Went 5+ years and no problems.
