Here is a updated list of the all time fastest street legal bikes top ten list. There is a facebook page titled (Colorados Fastest Street Bikes) that has this list as well as a current top 15 fastest street legal bikes in Colorado. We compete for top positions and get plaques for positions up to
15th place. Times range from the quickest so far of 8 seconds to 12 seconds so its open to almost any bike and any size.

Nice thing about the lists is that people cant just claim to have run a fast time, as all are verified through valid time slips submitted from any of the Colorado Race Tracks, Bandimere, Pueblo, Grand Junction, Julesburg.

So if anyone is looking for something fun to do, come out and claim one of the 15 postions and see where you rank as the fastest street legal bike in Colorado

You on this list yet? Sorry, I don't know your name.

If you are not privy to put out your legal name a simple "yes" would be enough  Just a fan of yours!

EDIT: DUH I guess I could just match your time in signature...

Quick question though. These are listed as the top Street Legal bikes so does that mean there are faster CO bikes out there non-legal?

Well some of the full on drag bikes aren't street legal. Track legal yes, but you can't put them on the street.

Also, if #15 is around 12 seconds some of you liter bike guys could beat this, even some 750s. My 100HP 750 can knock out a 12.5 with no mods.

Hey Bulldog, yes I got lucky and made the list and yes there are alot faster bikes out there that are not street legal mainly as they run wheelie bars and slicks, all these bikes have DOT tires etc.

That is very true and we expect these lists to change frequently as there are alot of bikes out there even in stock form that can take several of these positions away. Its just kinda a fun way to get some bragging rights and get involved in some friendly competition that anyone can take part in.

Oh, ok that explains it. Thanks, still learning the drag world, but after watching a few at Bandimere it is really cool...especially the bikes!

Do you have any plans to go that route; wheelie bars and slicks?

Thanks Bulldog. A few years back I ran a Funny Bike but went back to street bikes as it was a pain, had to have someone waiting at the starting line with a regular car starter hooked to 2 batteries to help me get it started etc. NOw the technology on the sportbikes is so advanced with the aftermarket high performance parts that alot of the street bikes are goins as fast or faster than some of the wheelie bar bikes. I have a pic laying around somewhere of my old funny bike.

I got a slip around here somewhere, and a video, showing 11.5@147 at Bandimere on a stock S1000RR. That get me anywhere near the top 15? :)
