I'm looking for new helmets and thinking the Bell Carbon Star is going to be too loud. It looks like there is a transition pinlock shield coming for the RF-1100 and 1200 and the Air has the flip down sun shield so I won't lose the flexibility of my Vortext with Transition shield.

GT-Air - Looks awesome, but isn't Snell approved. I'm guessing this could be a problem at the track but I could use my Vortex for that
RF-1100 - Can be had affordably, lots of good styles, should be quieter than my Vortex
RF-1200 - More expensive but flows better than the 1100 I'm told

Thoughts on these? This is all assuming they fit my head properly.

Have you checked out the Scorpion R2000? It's their top of the line MotoGP Helmet. Will be my next purchase. The reviews I have read state it flows a ton of air and is fairly quiet. Free tinted visor and I have always had good luck with their anti-fogging system.
